Joining Not Dead Yet Life has completely changed my life.
I had followed Matt for a while, and when I finally joined NDYL, I realized this wasn’t just a program—it’s a movement. Yeah, the 90 Day Alchemist and the morning routine gave me structure and discipline, but honestly, the group has impacted me the most.
I’ve been able to stay consistent is because of this group. For the past 220 days, I haven’t missed my morning routine. Journaling daily has been therapeutic, and gratitude has shifted the way I see life.
Josh and Bryon (NDYL member coaches) have been huge for me on this journey. The way they show up, lead, and push us has been inspiring. They don’t just talk about living the NDYL lifestyle—they live it.
Matt has been incredible. His guidance, insights, and encouragement have helped me see clarity when I was stuck, stay disciplined, and grow in ways I never thought possible. He’s not just teaching tools—he’s helping you change your life.
The NDYL group? Man, it’s a family. It’s a space where everyone genuinely wants to see each other win. Seeing people push through struggles and hit goals makes you want to rise with them. I’ve made real connections and friendships here that I know will last.
Because of NDYL, I’m more disciplined, more confident, and more grateful. I’m not just going through the motions anymore—I’m alive, and I’m chasing growth every day.
So thank you, Matt, Josh, Bryon, and everyone in this community. Joining NDYL has been one of the best choices I’ve ever made.
I’m not dead yet!
Death can get f*cked 🤘🏽
When I first joined the Not Dead Yet Life group, I was recently sober from alcohol and carrying a ton of wreckage, anger, depression, frustration, all mostly rooted in my past and a consistently negative outlook. I felt stuck, like I was trapped in a loop where everything I put out came back at me. NDY changed that.
The shift didn’t happen overnight, it started as soon as I was willing to look honestly at what I was projecting. NDYL taught me a simple and wildly effective truth. You get what you put out. Once I saw how much of my mental and physical energy was negative, it became obvious why that’s what I kept receiving. From there I began to change what I put out.
The group introduced practical, simple tools that I could actually use every day. The World Champion Morning Routine and 90 Day Alchemist helped me find my ideal routines and really focus on what my goals are and my accountability to them.
Breath work, learning to control my breath, gave me immediate access to calm, clarity, and regulation. Seeing how profoundly the breath affects the body hooked me, and it became a cornerstone of my practice. Practicing gratitude shifted my attention from what I lacked to what was present; that attention shift rewired my emotional baseline. Taking radical accountability helped me own my actions and their outcomes, removing blame and gave me a sense of agency.
I defiantly say came into it skeptical, like I’m sure a lot of people do. But the simplicity is where the magic lived. Implementing these practices little by little, consistently turned my negativity into momentum. I was genuinely surprised at how quickly things shifted when I actually practiced what I learned. Intention and consistency really changed everything!
Over the last two plus years since I joined NDYL, I’ve pushed my life to levels I didn’t think possible. Me, yes, me is now someone I’m proud of. I attribute that growth directly to the NDYL family. This also reflects very heavily on my personal life as a father and a husband. Not that I was a bad father or husband before but there was definitely room for improvement.
NDYL isn’t just a program, it’s a family. I never met a group of people more committed to each other’s success. It’s the ultimate booster club, everyone shows up to stoke each other’s fire. It doesn’t matter what lights your flame, someone in NDYL is right behind you, throwing gas on it.
NDYL helped me disconnect from the trauma and habits that were keeping me small, taught me practical tools I could actually use, and gave me a community that wanted my success as much as I wanted it. That combination turned survival into growth and now, two plus years into my journey, I’m living proof that if you want to change you can. It’s going to be hard but worth it.
I found my true self power when I was competing in Highland games. I found a systematic way to feel and perform at my best when I needed to. But after my career ended due to injury, I was truly lost, and without the ability to train or compete, I was just floating through life.
Then it occurred to me, WHAT IF I put as much effort in to self-development and my life goals as I did competing? This is when everything changed for me. Business grew, relationships flourished, and I felt completely back in control of my life.
I struggled with my mindset. I was looking at others thinking "That must be nice" and stuck wondering when my turn at happiness and success would come?
I struggled with discipline to do the things that I know I need to do.
I struggled with the bullshit excuses and limitations I had created for myself.
That was until I figured out this simple system of making sure I show up as my absolute best self, day in and day out...and it all started with changing how I handled those first moments awake in the morning.
